Farcana: Playtest and Earn Rewards
With the announcement of our Alpha and a gameplay release, we are now pleased to announce details surrounding our first ever public playtest event and all available rewards.
And the best part? Registrations are officially open.
Set in 2073, where humans have achieved colonization of Mars, space travel is safe but slow. Part of Mars has been terraformed, and a precious new substance, Infilium, has been discovered.
With Infilium, humans gain improved reflexes, special abilities and become absent of fear. However, Infilium has its dangers and can only be used in limited research settings under strict government supervision.
Farcana is a team-based shooter with multiple playable characters who have unique abilities aimed at cooperative and competitive team-based play.
At this stage, 4 characters are playable with many more to come. The playtest features one map with two rotating zones that players compete to control key objectives over.
Open for four days during the first week of June, the playtest is open to anyone with an internet connection and PC that meets the required specifications at the bottom of the blog.

After registering, you’ll be invited to install the Farcana launcher and create an account ready for the event.
We’ve even partnered with Biconomy to provide a seamless registration experience, whether you’re a crypto-native or not. Gamers can sign up and log in using socials or other straightforward account creation methods through Farcana.
Upon logging in, gamers will receive an instant wallet address attached to their account to make onboarding as simple as possible.
Later next month, there will be an additional playtest tournament held in Dubai with a further prize pool of ~$30,000 in BTC. Stay tuned for more details on this later.
As well as a free early playtester NFT, There is a $30,000 prize pool in BTC up for grabs for competitors for the first playtest.
Rewards will be given to players for accolades such as:
- Most kills
- Most objective captures
- Most headshots
- Best plays shared online
